Wraparound:
After a particularly successful Trick or Treat trip, the children have a
whole mountain of candy. They each eat until they can eat no more, Homer
joins in gladly, even taking candy to bed, but unfortunately it leads to
nightmares.
Stories:
*Lisa: The Monkey's Paw- the Simpsons, on a
foreign trip, pick up a monkey's paw that gives the holder four wishes.
Maggie wishes for a new pacifier, Bart for riches and famousness, Lisa for
World Peace, and lastly Homer wishes for a turkey sandwich. They find that
all their wishes have bad side effects though, as being rich gets them hated
by everyone, the aliens take advantage of the world peace to attack the
world, and the sandwich is dry. So Homer throws the paw away, Ned picks it
up, and he doesn't have side effects with his wishes.
*Bart: Bart the Monster- Everyone in town has to
be happy all the time, because if they dare think not so happy thoughts,
Bart promptly changes them in to something they don't want to be (Homer ends
up as a jack in the box, and the cat gets an umbrella growing out of her).
In the end Homer and Bart spend more time together, because dr. Marvin
Monroe suggested it, and as they tell each other they love one and other,
Bart wakes up screaming.
*Homer: Homer's Brain- When Homer has to take on a
job as a grave digger, he falls asleep in one of the graves he was digging.
At night Mr. Burns and Smithers come by because they need a brain for their
cyborg project. They put Homer's brain in a huge humanoid robot, hoping it
will see Mr. Burns as his father, but in stead it has eyes only for donuts,
so they put Homer's brain back. The robot then accidentally crushes Mr.
Burns, and his head is sewn on Homer's shoulder so it can survive.
