History
For those of you interested, Simpson Trivia started out as a group on MSN in 2003.  One day, Belgian_Witch (Who would later on change her nickname to Rainbowstar_Belgianwitch, and then just Rainbowstar), was very bored during the summer holiday, and decided to join the MSN chatrooms.  The lack of a Simpson chatroom appalled her and her friend David so she decided to make one (Well, I decided to make one...me being Rainbowstar...I get uncomfortable writing about myself in the third person, hehe).
In it we played a game called Simpson Trivia, which was basically just people asking questions about the Simpsons to each other.  A while later Boyish_Pluto, one of our regular visitors of the chatroom back then, suggested that we might make a group linked to the chatroom.  That way we could post the schedule of when I'd be on to create it, and just generally keep in touch.  So he did it for me (thanks very much!) and we went on from there.  Another member, Gnasher, made a bot for the chatroom, who could ask the questions when there weren't enough people to play the game amongst ourselves.
When the chatrooms closed, we moved the chat to the group, as there was a chatroom there as well.  Nimbus took over the bot and helped me with various technical things.  I also decided to put a bit more info about the Simpsons on the group, so that it wouldn't be so boring.  The visitors to the chatroom stopped coming though...there aren't many anymore, but yet I took over the bot from Nimbus in the hopes that people might come.
Eventually the information on the group became so much that it was very chaotic.  The structure of the group was exactly like I wanted it, but the pages couldn't hold enough info, so I found myself having to split some pages in two or more parts.  People were also telling me that I would attract more people if I moved away from MSN Groups but made it a real website in stead.  Lovemonkey provided the domain name and web space, and voila, Simpson Trivia the website was born.  The chatroom is still there, but now on IRC, the forum has been changed for another, more easily to manage, and the picture gallery is still open, it's the same as the group.

We hope you enjoy our site.  This is not just my work, but that of others as well.  Any member can suggest something and then we will try and see if we can use it and if so, how we can put it on the site.  There are several lists as well that are made solely by additions of members.  We hope to keep it that way, and that our members are happy to help us out.  Thank you, please come again!
