These are the occasions when the Simpsons was used somewhere else
South Park
Episode: The Simpsons Already Did It
Basically, it's about Butters (aka dr. chaos).  He wants revenge, so he thinks up all these plans to get revenge, but as it turns out all those plans (blocking out the sun, false angel...) have already been used in the Simpsons, so he ends up going slightly crazy (as I understand it, haven't seen it, I was told by paulhandley)
And again in episode: Cartoon Wars (part II), where the South Park gang wants to get rid of Family Guy.

A nearby garage
A garage here in Hoeilaart has a Bart Simpson like face (altered enough so as to not have to pay for copyright) above the gate, with a text balloon that has the name of the garage

THX Sound Thing
You know the thing that comes up at the start of the movies in the cinema? Well apparently George Lucas asked Matt Groening if he could use it, or the sound at least...cause it was used in Mr. Burns little film when he's looking for an heir.  I got this out of the commentaries, btw

Garfield movie
In the Garfield movie you see a shot of Santa's Little Helper

The Bloodhound Gang - Ralph Wiggum
This is a song made entirely of Ralph Wiggum quotes, sang by the Bloodhound Gang, click here for the lyrics

Die Hard
In one of the Die Hard movies, the clip where they electrocute each other in Marvin's Monroe Family Therapy Centre is shown on the plain, apparently (it was said in the commentaries)

Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion
They use a clip from Homer in Space

I'm the king of the world!
It was in the Simpsons first!  Then it got used in Titanic

Dinosaurs
Apparently this is character per character a spoof of the Simpsons.  I have to say thinking back I do agree, but at that moment I hadn't really noticed it.  then again i wasn't as big of a Simpsons fan then as I am now...it's a tough choice, cause I like the Simpsons, and I like Jim Henson...I'll go with imitation is the best form of flattery.
